The Kiwi Walk & Run Series is back again, heading to eight locations throughout New Zealand, including Hawke's Bay on Saturday 12 October 2024.
The Kiwi Walk & Run Series promises awesome finishers medals, unique scenery, a friendly atmosphere and an ultimate Kiwi experience.
Vineyard Riverside Trail - Saturday 12 October
Love wine? Love a good Saturday walk or run and wine?? Then do we have a deal for you! Nested in the heart of winemaking in Hawke's Bay, our course begins at Black Barn Vineyards, before working its way out and along the Tukituki River.
A mixture of a well formed bush trail and limestone pathway makes for easy walking and running, and best of all, it’s flat!! Finish off your adventure with a wine and brunch at Black Barn’s freshly restored Bistro, looking out over the terrain you have just conquered!
Suitable for: Wine lovers of all fitness levels, great for first timers and avid trail runners (must have some form or appreciation for good views though!)
Track condition: 40% Limestone pathway, 30% bush trail, 10% paved
Run options: 5km, 10km, 14.5km
